The Snow Tour

The snow tour kicked off with the mini brits at Norfolk where me and Marcus headed down for a great session. Marcus took two Bronzes in both Big Air and Slopestyle and I qualified for the overall mens finals in Skiercross where I unfortunatly got brutally maulled, check out some of the photos! We then headed to Milton Keynes with Dave Furley (another sheffield rider) where we both fell (opps!) but had an awsome time watching some off Britains best! Next weekend, Me, Marcus, Dan Smith (maycontain rider) and Martin Carr took a road trip to Scottland for the Skiercross camps where Marcus took Silver, Dan took Bronze, and I had won the overall Mens final, to later be told I was disqualified for a false start!! That evening we ventured to Rambo's farm for some tractor driving and cow tipping. Then me, Marcus and Tom Morley (another from maycontain) for the Slopestyle leaning a few new things on the rails and more of Britains best.

10 til 10 Tour

So it half term, me and Marcus were bored out of are minds, and there was nothing left on tv to watch... This was when Marcus and Tom had th great idea to do a mini skiing tour around England. This tour included setting off from our house at 10am hitting Halifax, Rossendale and Manchester ski slopes, finishing at 10pm, hence the name 10 til 10 Tour. This is when maycontain offered to be the official sponsor of the tour! The day was appsolutly amazing, having a great time at Halifax with Tyler (my fav slope!) then hitting the new kicker at Rossendale, getting that extra hieght to put an extra rotation, tweak the grab or just lay the trick out. Then finishing at Chill Factore with the Grom camps, learning some new tricks, and perfecting the ones we already knew. Though it was not only the skiing that was great, the jouney was basically a road trip where almost everything went wrong; ran out of petrol, almost crashing etc. So look out for the video, and many thanks again to maycontain for making it happen!!

London Freeze

Last weekend of October, of a pretty wicked month so far, thinking it couldn't get any better when me and Andy Moss finalise are plans for the London Freeze! An amazing weekend where we met some of the worlds best skiers like Colby West and Andreas Hatviet, partied in the crowds of Calvin Harris and having my first taste of the festival vibe! Meeting up with many of the British skiers, talking to some of the top sponsors and generally having an awsome time!!

October was a great start to my monthly blogs, full of comps, a mini tour and meeting top pros! Hope November is just as good
