Water ramp training in holland

Just been away with the boys doing water ramp training in holland which went pretty good. I travelled with Martin Carr, Ben Parkes, Tom Smith, and Josh Ingram. Started off on thursday evening on the over-night ferry from Hull to Rotterdam i have never had such a bad night sleep in my life but made it up with the anount of food we consumed on the buffet dinner and breakfast, after getting off the ferry we had a bit of a drive to Eindhoven to our hotel which was pretty impressive. We had a Gym, Swimming pool, Sauna, Squash courts, Table tennis, Badminton and tennis courts. spent most of friday at the hotel in the Gym then pool which we managed to empty by flipping into the water, after this we went into sauna and baked ourselves for a while. That evening we went for a chinese in the town where once again Me and Josh managed to pick the most food possible. We also met Ben Cavet and his Dad at the meal for the first time, we then went back to the hotel for another swim before the bar and bed. On Saturday we got up at 8 to head off to the water ramp for our first session, we set off at 9 to find that when we arrived the ramp was not there, we found out that it had been moved to a different location we then went there and met the Dutch ski team before putting on wetsuits and getting ready for the jump. we then had a 3 hour session in which Ben Cavet, Ben Parkes, Josh Ingram, and Tom Smith were killing it thowing down cork 10's, double backs, double fronts and D-spins, with me however i went for a flat spin and ended up doing a bio 5 and landing on my front getting extremely winded and bruising all up my leg and my ribs. That night we ate at the hotel before going to the bar and annoying Josh with the Station game.

The next morning we were up and packing again ready for the competition and heading home, After arriving at the water ramp again we got ready and started to practice for the competition in which i ended up snapping my ski and not being able to compete, but i still had a good day in the sun filming and keeping the jump running fast for everyone else. After the competition we headed back to Rotterdam for the ferry home, we were on the boat at around half 7. Tom Smith had his face painted like batman and we then went to cinema to watch The Hangover which was good and we then went to the bar for the Live entertainment after this we were all tired and went to sleep. Got woke up in the morning by being told to head to our cars and that was the trip over.

Overall it was a good trip, even though i broke my skis and got injured, would hape to go back next summer and have more skiing done.
